SOTW 1-19-09: Roadkill in Kansas City.
This week’s Shot of the Week is Trevor Osterholt, AKA Roadkill, at a spot in Kansas City Missouri. It was taken back in October of 2008, by photographer Ryan Young, who is currently in Iraq serving as a Marine photo journalist. What a cool looking “natural” spot. Now if only he was six inches tall he could hit that full pipe too. Speaking of size, does anyone else think I should start making the SOTW larger in the gallery? Are you channeling Mike Poor? Let’s see a shot of Mike Poor!
Let me clarify. Randy and Neil and I used to run with this ripper, Mike Poor, a the University of Illinois. Back then there was sparse terrain compared to today. He had a weird habit of pointing to tiny trannys, like if your Moose Cup was laying on its side, and saying “man, if we were an inch tall that thing would be sick!”. And he did this ALL the time.
I almost gave him a tip of the hat, but I figured only one or two people would get it. Here you go Brad, here’s Mike Poor back in 2006, nose grind at his ramp.
