This week’s Shot Of The Week is Marek Litinski at Burnside as shot by his fellow countryman Martin Lucuk. You don’t see a lot of Burnside shots on Skate and Annoy (Yes, yes, it’s because we’re posers…) so why not. Marek’s friend came over from Czechoslovakia the Czech Republic for a Northwest skate session and so there you have it. Czechoslovakia (Czech and Slovak: ?eskoslovensko; after 1990: ?esko-Slovensko) was a sovereign state in Central Europe that existed from October 1918 (upon declaring its independence from the Austro-Hungarian Empire) until 1992 (with a government-in-exile during the World War II period).
On January 1, 1993, Czechoslovakia peacefully split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia
