Gotta love the thick riser pads and tiny wheels. It's like a 7/8" rise for 52mm wheels. I'm guessing such a set up removes the potential for a lawsuit based on some kid getting wheel bite and eating shit. Then again, do they know enough about skating to know what wheel bite even is?

Please document your test run on this! That would be a good Grover's Korner.

You forgot to mention that the hangers are plastic with a shiny coating designed to make them look like metal.

You are tempted to see which one will last longer? I thought we already penciled it into the SnA R&D lab schedule for a warmer day.

this is what i learned to ollie on before my parents broke down and bought me a complete.

First complete was:

Maple Skateboard Deck
Independent Trucks
Risers
Bones Rippers 54mm wheels
Shortys Hardware
Black Magic Grip
Generic Abec-3 Bearings

I learned a lot on that deck…mainly never to buy maple decks again, it broke after 2 weeks.
