Well, you’re a tool now

A turd that looks like a skateboard

Someone at my daughter’s school was trying to sell this flimsy p.o.s. and when there were no takers he gave it to her. She was appalled and brought it home before anyone could see her with it. Cummins Industrial Tools rechristened Tools now will sell you this deathtrap made in China to their high standards for $9.99. I’m guessing that means their standards when they were high on drugs. The shrinkwrap is probably adding significant strength to the deck. Those plastic baseplates are inspired by the old Tracker Ultralights. I am tempted to see which will last longer, the Cummins Bravo or $9.99 worth of beer.

this is what i learned to ollie on before my parents broke down and bought me a complete.

    First complete was:

    Maple Skateboard Deck
    Independent Trucks
    Risers
    Bones Rippers 54mm wheels
    Shortys Hardware
    Black Magic Grip
    Generic Abec-3 Bearings

I learned a lot on that deck…mainly never to buy maple decks again, it broke after 2 weeks.

You forgot to mention that the hangers are plastic with a shiny coating designed to make them look like metal.

You are tempted to see which one will last longer? I thought we already penciled it into the SnA R&D lab schedule for a warmer day.

who needs urethane when you can have PVC?

Gotta love the thick riser pads and tiny wheels. It’s like a 7/8″ rise for 52mm wheels. I’m guessing such a set up removes the potential for a lawsuit based on some kid getting wheel bite and eating shit. Then again, do they know enough about skating to know what wheel bite even is?

Please document your test run on this! That would be a good Grover’s Korner.
