Its going to better than a Charlie Brown Xmas for us skaters in Hood River, Oregon. Today I went down to the skatepark to drop a case of Red Bull on the hard working crew. I had to ask (Designers and Builders Graham and Mark) when the expected finish date was, they said they have stayed well within the budget, with no plans of stopping and took me on a walk around the skatepark.

“We want to do this and that?” as we talked they asked me “What would you like to see?”

I blurted out something in lines of “Can we make a cool roller with a pole jam and fire hydrant to ollie and flip over? (Did I just say that?)

“THAT’S A KILLER IDEA!” They say in a group reply. Then we discussed a line through to the bathroom with a “Civic Center” style water gap. They all laughed and agreed that there was more than enough potential here. dscn1883.jpg dscn1868.jpg dscn1886.jpgdscn1885.jpgdscn1884.jpg dscn1871.jpgdscn1870.jpgdscn1869.jpg

I gotta drop a huge accolade to Carl Warren, he’s keeping this park so buffed and clean that its been a pleasure to skate when he gets done. Thanks Carl! dscn1865.jpg

Enjoy the holidays everyone!
